Integrating new technology into medical logistics.

Biopharmaceutical science continues to revolutionize patient care, but not all care providers have access to these life-saving products. Despite the best efforts of clinicians, nurses, and emergency medical services, the quality of care a patient receives is often limited by logistics and product shortages. DesiCorp is leveraging our core competencies in Life Sciences, Packaging Solutions, and Advanced Materials to eliminate medical shortages by extending product shelf-life and by simplifying product logistics and storage.

Together, these areas help ensure that medical products can be delivered, used, and trusted, even in the most challenging environments.

Life Sciences

Our state-of-the-art technology allows DesiCorp to preserve sensitive compounds and therapeutics to extend their shelf-life without any need for refrigeration. Stabilizing therapeutic products eliminates the need for electrical infrastructure and limits the cost of expiring products. This enables emergency medical services, rural clinics, or remote field care providers to keep and utilize the same products used in general hospitals. These tools are simple to use, dependable in tough conditions, and crucial for providing immediate treatment.

These solutions help ensure that every patient has access to the best standard of care, no matter where they are.

Packaging Solutions

Great medical products cannot make an impact if they’re damaged, degraded, or sitting in stockpiles. DesiCorp’s packaging solutions are designed to effectively protect sensitive therapeutics during long journeys and in unpredictable environments. We achieve this by using advanced materials that rival the oxygen and water vapor barrier performance of glass while maintaining the flexibility, durability, and transparency of thin plastics. Our two-chambered bags separately compartmentalizes dry therapeutics and their corresponding rehydration fluids, which can be recombined by compressing of the packaging. This allows care providers to safely and intuitively rehydrate dry therapeutics with a reliable potency and without contamination.

Our packaging makes fragile therapeutics robust and dependable ones that can be pre-positioned and utilized immediately at the point of care.

Advanced Materials

DesiCorp is continuously developing new types of glasses, ceramics, plastics, films, and coatings that support or enhance healthcare products. These materials help medical tools last longer, stay cleaner, and perform better, even in the most austere environments.

Our advanced materials help create solutions to address the evolving challenges of global healthcare.
